In early 2014 an awesome journey began.  God spoke into the hearts of two local pastors, Chad Hammons and Ed Webbon, and urged them to lead their respective churches into an incredible adventure of joining their stories together to form a brand new church.  And if that wasn’t big enough, God made it clear that they should Co-Pastor this new church together. These men accepted that challenge. After much prayer, diligent research, serious discussions, various meetings with leadership, congregations, and other ministers, the path was clear. On March 1st 2015 Ignite Church was launched in Bay City, TX with 364 people in attendance.  

From the beginning Ignite Church has had the philosophy that church should be a fun and an enjoyable experience with a comfortable atmosphere, engaging music, and helpful messages.
